2002 - Whistler, BC

Stayed at: Slopeside! Legends at Creekside for $179 (Canadian!!) Can we ever go back?

Conditions:

Day 1 - Some sun, some cloud, some cold, some warm, some leftover powder (12" 2 days before) at Whistler
Day 2 - Fair conditions, but the glacier at Blackcomb was something.
Day 3 - Skiied in a blizzard most of the day
Day 4 - Epic! The sun shone, a lot of untracked snow from 6+" on prior day/night. Peak chair was great!

After a long, long, long delay (and much ribbing from Mark & Jon), Fink produced an amazing ski video of our trip. Not only did it capture some great ski footage, but gives a good feel of the, how shall we say, idiosyncracies of the trip. The video is 200M, so its not yet ready for the web and I didn't want to edit any of Fink's fine work (which was amazing). Ask me to show it to you the next time you visit. Anyway, staying slopeside, with a mountain-view jacuzzi was great! Mark definitely redeemed himself for the 2001 hotel on the highway. We're coming back. Only 2 more years until heli-ski. Get in shape!
